Bernard was born in Brooklyn, New York. She began her career in the comedy drama Pay It Forward starring alongside Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment. After school, she returned to the screen by getting a lead role in the short film Wrestling With The Past. In 2015, she played the role of Lauren Heller, a publicist beside Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff. In the same year she got a small role in the Nancy Meyers' comedy The Intern, beside Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway. Molly has a bachelor's degree from Skidmore College and a MFA in acting from Yale University/Yale School of Drama.
